  • You are basically correct with regards to body fat, but it triggers the menstrual cycle. Puberty is triggered by bone density. If a certain bone density is not reached, the body will not have any effect.

  • I appreciate your comment, but your conclusion may be off. Precocious puberty causes kids (boys can get it too) to use up their height growth potential leaving them shorter than they could have been.

  • I have 2 daughters who went through prepocious puberty. One was so advanced we had to give her a daily shot for 5 years to get back on a normal chronological track.

  • I think you list is a strong one and it is always easy to miss a guy here or there, but to leave A-Rod out of the converstaion when he is easily the second most productive player in the AL based on time based on time played and his team has the best record in baseball since his return.
